Quick Update
Hey y'all! Quick update for anyone :) Aly is healing very nicely, and I acually lounged her yesterday! We did stretchy circles, and lots of trot/walk and walk/trot transitions. For about 40 mins. It was very good for her. She needs work. I hope we can make lots of progress on our dressage during this 'non jumping' period...again. I can do crossrails when she gets more movment ability in her hock. Shouldn't be too long I hope. Anyway, I probably be ale to update as often as I was planning because of all the extra AP history crap I have to do. I also had written a long update on Aly last night, but my stupid phone wouldn't post it. GRRRR! well, more updates later!

I want to ride
All. I. Want. Is. To. Ride. Seriously! I haven't ridden in so long, and I am going to die if I don't get a good ride in soon. I mean, I can ride Aly, but only walk. I don't want to hurt her. So most of the time we go for hand walks, munch on some grass, look at the pretty cross country jumps...ect, ect. and my brothers horse has a popped splint, and is owchy on that. So I can't ride him. I don't really want to ride him just because he is Treys horse, and Trey has barely ridden all year! Crazy boy. PLUS school starts Monday! Gahhh!!! Fml. I don't wanna go. At least it's jr.year I guess? But that leaves less time for riding. And I am taking honors classes PLUS AP U.S.History. Woohoo. See the enthusiasm? So basically, I will not be competing this fall, riding, or involved with anything that keeps me in the loop of Area 8 Eventers. Sadface. Emily will be off to college and with her new hubby from now on, so I will barely see her anymore. Cryface. And Kristen is selling Will, I think. So it's just me and Austin. And Austin is in college too, so I will never see her either! I look forward to cleaning horse poop by myself, not riding, and feeding the fat, fluffy horses all winter. not. It has been since August 2009 that I last competed! And August 2010 that I have trailered anywhere else to ride. So I'm feeling really low about my riding career right now. I need to ride again. Dressage and jump something! Anything! Sigh. Well, I guess I just gotta convince the rents to let me lease a horse for the fall. I hope I can. I'm not good at asking them for stuff. The whole ' no money ' thing kinda makes it hard. But they understand how much I love and work for the horses just to ride, much less compete *as mentioned above*. Well, at least my dad does, not so sure about mom. So anyway, I need a game plan. Say how much I need to ride, I found a horse online, ask them to look at it, call the owner, take a look at the horse, hopefully like it, talk to Spandau about bringing new horse over for me to ride this winter, work off bOard agreement, horse stays in stall next to Aly or Zeke?, start working with said horse, maybe compete if I have spare money, be happy, then when Aly is better start with her again. That's a lot wow. Hopefully it will happen!

Owch!
No pain, No gain.
Now, Tracy will probably kill me for posting this on here, but seriously. It's just too funny not to be shared! And in case you were wondering, no that's not me. I'm not that talented! All the guys out there are probably cringing just looking at this...understandable. But once you get passed the mental pain it's quite hilarious! And in my opinion, it takes a certain amount of poise and grace to "dismount" in such an exquisite manner. And according to O'Reily (horse), it wasn't his fault. He just simply seems to say, "Mom, you're embarrassing me, stop."
Thank you Facebook (and Tracy) for this extremely amusing photo.
Luckily it was caught on camera. ;)

MY FIRST POST! yay :P
Well, this is my FIRST post, obviously. I guess I just need something else to keep me very busy, and keep track on the progress I am making with my amazing horse, Aly. I love her so much, but a recent pasture injury has kept us from doing ANYTHING in a looooong time. Its pretty nasty and cool at the same time. I feel so bad for my baby...whaa.
It will probably take me a while to get the hang of blogging, so bear with me! But i promise, there will be some intersting stories to come in the near future. As well as some pictures. :)
